Overview

Quick Notes is a browser extension that allows you to take notes while browsing the web. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data Storage

All notes you create are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. Your note content is never transmitted to external servers.

What We Store Locally

Anonymous Usage Statistics

To help improve Quick Notes, the extension may collect anonymous usage statistics:

Note content is NOT collected. Only anonymous device metadata is transmitted.

You can disable statistics at any time in the extension settings.

Smart Redirects

The extension may receive URL redirect rules to help fix broken links (e.g., when a website moves content to a new URL). These rules are applied using Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API and only affect navigation, not page content.
